BEFORE THE QUAKE

If somehow before the quake, when they were just eating mudcookies


there was, at least, an emergency food source nearby;
at least, a plan put in place by those who would respond;
at least, equipment donated, that would be necessary to clear the tons of debris
at least, the common sense to see people who are eating mudcookies, may not have the necessary mechanisms and emergency systems in place to deal with a natural disaster that WILL HIT THE ISLAND SOME DAY.
